In trying to help out the industry, we have decided to
post a few links to some other events (Non-FISA Events).
You can check out their stuff on the "Outside
Events" page

In 2012 we had only 28 members which is
half of what we had in 2008. We were lucky enough to get the courses to drop the minimums to
40 for every event that year (except Flying Horse). Sounds great except we had 47 members. This means we needed almost
100% participation at every event just to hit 40.
The courses agreed to drop the minimums for us but they are
all requiring that we give them final numbers 10 days before the event. This
means, you have to let FISA know as soon as possible if you will be attending
and any guests you might be bringing. This has to be done and we don't have
any flexibility with it. Now, anyone who tries to sign up after the 10 days
ahead might still get to play but there is a good chance you won't get to eat.
There is also a chance there will not be any open slots since the courses will
try to fill the course (within reason of course) so they don't lose money.
We felt these were acceptable rules to follow and still get
to play on their courses. We are asking for full understanding and cooperation
in this matter. You have the schedule already so please start making
arrangements now to get those dates locked up on your schedule.

Help us out by posting a
Membership Flyer at your local club.

Members, If you would like to go paperless,
please let me know & I will just e-mail the registration form to you. You
can pay online or just mail your check in to the address on the letterhead.
This will help cut costs for FISA & future tournaments. Just send me an e-mail
and tell me you want to go Paperless. Thank You.

If you are looking for a Colorado
Golf League or Golf Club in Colorado, or just
want to try Golfing in Colorado. FISA is just
what you were looking for. Most golf clubs in Colorado don't offer the range
of courses FISA plays.
The Food Industry Sports Association (FISA) is an excellent
opportunity for passionate golfers to enjoy the "country club
membership" feeling without paying the high membership fees. Members will
play spirited golf on a regular basis while enjoying the camaraderie
associated with a club membership. It is our feeling that there are too few
opportunities for golfers to hone their skills in a fun, competitive, yet
affordable environment.
The league is open to all amateur golfers regardless of
ability, as all events are played with a FISA handicap (rolling 5), GHIN or
Callaway System. We have chosen some of Colorado's finest courses to host our
events. The events are held on Mondays. Every event we award 1st and 2nd place
in the foursome. We will have 2 closest to the pin and 2 longest putts at
every tournament. We also award for Low Gross and Low Net. We like to spread
the prizes out as much as possible to you have a very good chance of winning
something every time you play.
This league is not about winning prizes, it is about being
able to play some of the finest courses without the club membership. Come
experience the best of Colorado's courses. For more information about FISA,
check out the FISA History page.
Come join us and experience the
country club courses without the country club fees.
